CHANGING STATUS TO M1 VOCATIONAL STUDENT

 In order the change of status from a non-immigrant visa to M-1 Vocational student  you must qualify for the following:

You must have been accepted by a U.S. government approved school.

"Immigration & Visa Center, Inc." will assist in submitting the necessary documentation to the school).

·         You must be enrolled as a full time academic or language student.

·         You must have enough money or get a financial support to study without working.

·         You must return home when your studies are completed. You will have a period of time to leave the country after your classes are over.

Considerations:

      The visas can be issued quickly.

      You have to attend only the specific school for which your visa currently has been approved.

      You may work legally in part-time job on campus. Also, you may get special permission to work off campus if it is economically necessary or if the job provides practical training for your field of study.
